Bharat Gupta has recently joined Sterlite Technologies Ltd as Head of Corporate Affairs. His focus areas being Spectrum, New Technologies, Defence and Internal Security. He has more than 25 years of experience in Telecom & ICT. His last assignment prior to joining STL was with the Ministry of Defence where he was handling issues related to Spectrum and Defence Band. He has also worked at TRAI and had the opportunity to author consultation papers/Recommendations on Data Privacy, Local Telecom Equipment Manufacturing etc. He has also authored papers on Exploitation of EM Spectrum for Armed Forces, Utilisation of Unlicensed Spectrum for Defence etc.
