Shri A.K. Tiwari, Member (Technology) of the Department of Telecommunications is an ITS officer of 1983 batch. He joined the Department in 1985. He is responsible for implementation part of DoT policies in the field. He has mostly worked in the field units of DoT as TDE/TDM/Director (VTM)/DDG(TERM) and DDG (RTEC). Before joining as Member (Technology), he was Advisor (Technology) in UP East LSA and Sr. DDG in J&K LSA. He is well conversant in all the field activities of DoT as well as in Licensing, Security, National Broadband Mission, Disaster Management etc. He has represented India in NEAX61S workshop for consecutive 3 years in 1992-1994.
