About Event

WRC-23

World Radio Conference (WRC-23), will take place in the fourth quarter of 2023 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The outcome of WRC-23 will result in an updating of the International Spectrum framework, which is detailed in the Radio Regulations, an international treaty published and maintained by the International Telecommunication Union (a specialized agency of the United Nations).

The 4th meeting of APG for WRC-23 (APG23-4) will be held from 15th to 20th August 2022 in Thailand, which will focus on the international treaty governing the use of the radio-frequency spectrum, the geostationary-satellite and non-geostationary-satellite orbits, organize coordinated regional activities for WRCs and RAs in order to ensure that the interests of APT Members on Radiocommunication issues are properly represented, followed with any revisions if required in terms of input documents on the basis of an agenda determined by the ITU Council.

ITU-APT Foundation of India (IAFI) in order to support India 's national preparations on key agenda items of WRC-23 and to start our preparations for APG23-4 on the occasion of WTISD will host a 4th National Preparatory Workshop for WRC-23.
